Am Sonntag führt Antonio einen Dokumentarfilm über Genesis P-Orridge vor – Pionier*in der Industrial-Musik, von Throbbing Gristle, Psychic TV und dem Pandrogeny-Projekt.

„S/He Is Still Her/e“ (2024) von Regisseur David Charles Rodrigues ist die offizielle und intime Dokumentation über das letzte Lebensjahr der wegweisenden Musik- und Avantgarde-Ikone Genesis P-Orridge. Als Pionier*in des Industrial-Genres (mit den Bands Throbbing Gristle und Psychic TV) nutzte Genesis den eigenen Körper als Kunstwerk. Genesis blickt im Film intensiv auf das eigene Vermächtnis und die Vergänglichkeit des Körpers zurück und beschäftigt sich mit dem bevorstehenden Lebensende.

On Sunday, Antonio will be screening a documentary about Genesis P-Orridge – a pioneer of industrial music, known for the work with Throbbing Gristle, Psychic TV and the Pandrogeny Project.

„S/He Is Still Her/e“ (2024), directed by David Charles Rodrigues, is the official and intimate documentary about the final year of the pioneering music and avant-garde icon Genesis P-Orridge. As a pioneer of the industrial genre (with the bands Throbbing Gristle and Psychic TV), Genesis used the own body as a work of art. In the film, Genesis reflects deeply on the own legacy and the transience of the body, and comes to terms with the impending end of life.
