O Yuki Conjugate is an English ambient and post-industrial group founded in 1982 in Nottingham by Roger Horberry and Andrew Hulme. Emerging from the experimental wing of post-punk, they pioneered what they call „dirty ambient“ — atmospheric soundscapes combining organic textures with electronic elements. Key albums include Scene in Mirage (1984), Into Dark Water (1987), Peyote (1990), and Equator (1995), all of which have gained retrospective critical acclaim.
Now in their fourth incarnation, the group remains intermittently active around the core of Horberry and Hulme.
