About

Hunting Lodge was an American industrial project founded in May 1982 in Port Huron, Michigan, by Lon C. Diehl, Carla J. Nordstrom, and Richard Skott Rusch. Diehl and Rusch bonded over a shared appreciation for Throbbing Gristle, SPK, and Dome while working at Full Moon Records. Their first live appearance at the Harrington Ballroom in September 1982 was recorded on a portable cassette player and became their debut release.

Key albums include Will (1983) and Nomad Souls, released through the American underground cassette and vinyl network. They were among the earliest DIY electronic industrial acts in the US.
